Cirque de Soleil returns to Miami with "VOLTA"

Cirque du Soleil is thrilled to announce a new production that will premiere in Miami this December: Cirque du Soleil VOLTATM, written and directed by Bastien Alexandre and with Jean Guibert as the director of creation. International electronic group M83, previously announced as composer and musical director, brings his space-age future pop sound to the Cirque du Soleil stage for the first time ever. The show will be presented under the Big Top next to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami starting December 15, 2017. The name VOLTA refers to a sudden about-face, a change in emotion or idea often used in poetry. It also speaks to the jolt of energy delivered through the show. The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show has arrived!

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, called FLIBS for short, is the largest in-water boat show in the world, attracting a global audience of approximately 100,000 boating enthusiasts who share a common interest in life on the water. It's finally here! I actually checked out the docks yesterday so all of the images on this post were taken by yours truly. In case you didn't know, the show draws an impressively diverse, international crowd of buyers, sellers and new entrants to the boating community who come to see the latest that the global boating industry has to offer. One thousand exhibitors and more than 1,200 boats are on display each November at the exhibition widely regarded as the industry’s top annual boating event. This year’s show takes place from Wednesday, November 1st through Sunday, November 5th, at seven locations connected by a network of water and land transportation.
