Celebrate "El Dia de los Muertos" at Cantina Beach!

Sazoneros!!! It's almost Halloween so I hope you've been getting creative and thinking about what sort of scary costumes you can create for this upcoming weekend. Since I'm sure you're looking for cool things to do in Miami, I thought I'd share one of my fav events to check out for "El Dia de los Muertos." Dating back to over 3,000 years, ancient Mexican civilizations have celebrated the souls of the departed with festive gatherings, parades and private altars with offerings of food and beverage. Cantina Beach at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne is hosting a special "Day of the Dead" event on Friday, October 28th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy specialty priced margaritas ($10) and Tacos al Pastor and Arabes ($6), a Mexican treat that is rarely seen outside of Mexico. With the Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop, Miami’s only oceanfront Mexican restaurant, Cantina Beach, will honor this Mexican tradition by offering face painters and sounds from the restaurant’s resident DJ. No reservations required. *Regular dinner menu and valet parking validation will be available. Cantina Beach at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami is located at 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne, FL. For additional information or to view Cantina Beach’s dinner menu, please call (305) 365-4500 or visit www.ritzcarlton.com/keybiscayne. Enjoy!!!
