Holiday Clothes Drive to benefit Miami's Lotus House Shelter

Sazoneros! It's been a while since I write a blog post but life has been picking up speed these last few weeks. As many of you know, aside from writing my blog for fun...I'm the CEO of Peacock Public Relations in Miami. Four Seasons Hotel Miami Hosts an End of Summer Pool Party

Sazoneros!!! It's been a while since I write a blog post but I couldn't resist sharing this hot pool party in Miami. Who says the summer is ever over in our sexy city right? Grab your chicas and bikinis because the Four Seasons Hotel Miami is celebrating an Endless South Florida Summer with the ultimate pool party on Sunday, September 20th (a.k.a. Amigos For Kids Hosts Another Successful Miami Celebrity Domino Night at Jungle Island

Amigos For Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, hosted their 13th annual edition of what has become Miami’s most popular annual fundraiser, the 2015 Miami Celebrity Domino Night. The star-studded event took place on Saturday, June 20 at Jungle Island. “Amigos For Kids has been serving our community for almost twenty-five years, and our commitment is unwavering towards putting an end to child abuse,” said Rosa Maria Plasencia, Amigos For Kids President & CEO. FUNKSHION is back to celebrate Miami Beach's Centennial

In celebration of the city of Miami Beach’s Centennial on March 26th, FUNKSHION: Fashion Week Miami Beach will be hosting a week of fashion, music and art - full of live performances and interactive installations. The five-day event will take place in the epicenter of Miami Beach, located outside of the Centennial Celebration Arena on Ocean Drive and 11th Street from March 22-26, 2015. For the 100-year celebration, FUNKSHION will be creating a one-of-a-kind, state of the art structure to house each of the fashion shows and live performances, appropriately named Style Village.  Sazoneros! Who doesn't love to roller skate these days? It's a great workout and there's people out there who do really cool tricks on South Beach. You've seen them right? Well, get ready to get your jam on while checking out the beautiful view of our city at Bayfront Park. On Thursday, February 26th, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. make sure to join Bay Skate Miami.  Sazoneros!! If you've been following my blog for the past few years, you know I love to check out the Indian dinners hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Hotel. Well, it's that time of the year again. The Ritz-Carlton officially started their new Indian dinner series so started planning a date with your friends, coworkers or loved ones (since Valentines Day is around the corner). This past Saturday, I attended a special preview dinner to taste the delicious menu created by Executive Chef and Chennai, India native, Ramesh Kaduru (pictured on the left). The results of my experience? OMG...brace yourselves for a delightful meal that will surely satisfy your Indian food craving! The new dinner series is open to locals every last Saturday of the month up until April 2015. Sazoneros! It's been a while since I share a casting opportunity with you. There's a MAJOR TV network hosting a casting call in Miami so listen up! The casting director is looking for fun individuals who would like to get their nails done on television. This show goes way...way beyond nail polish. We're talking Nail ART. All done by  the talented staff of artists for a new series on a major television network. If you're selected, you'll record the episode one day between March 2nd and April 6th in the Miami area. I know I've always wanted peacock feathers on my nails...so I might have to apply myself! Must be 18 years or older to participate. Who will be chosen you might ask? Art Deco Weekend 2015 is coming to Miami Beach!

Sazoneros! Happy New Year!! I haven't written a blog post since last year so I'm happy to be back after a short hiatus. Well, I've finally come across a fun event to share with you today. Did you know Art Deco Weekend 2015 will be celebrating 100 years of history, architecture and people? Take a step back in time and enjoy the festivities taking place in Miami Beach (January 16th - 18th). Every year during Art Deco Weekend, Miami Design Preservation League closes Ocean Drive to traffic. Over 140 vendors line Lummus Park and Ocean Drive displaying vintage and handmade paintings, photography, jewelry, sculptures and posters. Ocean Drive will be overtaken by street entertainment, classic cars and people. Come see stilt walkers, magicians, dancers, strolling characters and more!
