UM Frost School of Music presents Festival Miami 2014

Sazoneros ! If you're a fan of music, you've got to check out the brand new season of Festival Miami which kicks off next month in Coral Gables. UHealth Coral Gables presents the 31st season of the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s acclaimed Festival Miami – Florida’s premier live music festival – stages a stellar line-up of acclaimed performing artists in a diverse blend of styles and cultural backgrounds this October 10 through November 8. World-class instrumentalists, orchestras, singers, songwriters, composers and other musical icons showcase their artistic prowess alongside faculty artists and students from the Frost School of Music. More than 25 concerts and events are organized into four genre themes: Great Performances, Jazz and Beyond, Music of the Americas, and Creative American Music.Concerts are held in the intimate 600-seat UM Maurice Gusman Concert Hall, 1314 Miller Drive, on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus (unless otherwise indicated)

The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Hosts an Indian Inspired Chef's Table Series

Sazoneros! Remember when I took that cool picture with two camels at the Ritz-Carlton? Well, my favorite chef is hosting a similar "foodie" experience so I'd love to share the details with you. Inspired by foods, flavors and culture of his hometown of Chennai, India, Executive Chef Ramesh Kaduru (pictured on the right) invites guests to a six week long exclusive chef’s table experience, cooking demonstration and Diwali weekend celebrations. Beginning Friday, October 3rd, The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove , Miami’s private dining room will transform into a rich, vibrant and sultry dinner destination. Each week, Chef Kaduru will present a beautiful five-course menu with a personalized touch and explanation of each dish. Limited to only 14 guests in a communal table style seating. Cirque Du Soleil Returns to Miami with Amaluna

Sazoneros! If you're a fan of acrobats and cool aerial moves, you'll be happy to know that Cirque du Soleil returns to Miami with one of its newest touring shows, Amaluna. The show will premiere on December 11th under the iconic blue and yellow Big Top at Sun Life Stadium . Written and directed by Tony Award-winning director, Diane Paulus , Cirque du Soleil's 33rd production Amaluna is a celebration of love and a tribute to the work and voice of women.
