The Sony Open Tennis Tournament returns to Key Biscayne on March 17th!

Sazoneros!! You know I'm a huge tennis fan so I'm excited that we're officially getting closer
to celebrating the 30th edition of the Sony Open! In case you didn't know, I was a ball girl for three years back in college. Cool right? Well, get ready to see the best tennis stars in the world around town this month as they take center stage at Miami Tennis Center in Crandon Park from March 17th to March 30th. The purple courts of Sony Open Tennis will be sizzling on Saturday, March 22 at 8pm when World No. 1 Rafael Nadal (pictured above) returns to Miami seeking his first Sony Open title. The 13-time Grand Slam winner Nadal is a fan favorite, having made appearances in a career-high 14 finals in 2013 and claiming 10 titles throughout the course of his career. Off to a strong start in 2014, Nadal was a finalist at this year’s Australian Open and is hungry to make his mark in Miami.

You can also expect to see Serena Williams, 17-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer, defending Sony Open champion Andy Murray (pictured above along with yours truly during a charity event held at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne last year), Maria Sharapova, reining Australian Open winner Stanislas Wawrinka and three-time Sony Open champ Novak Djokovic. Tickets to the 2014 Sony Open are on sale now and can be purchased by phone (305-442-3367) or online at Make sure to round up your friends and start buying your tickets early. Trust me, you'll love sipping champagne while watching an amazing tennis match with your favorite players. See you there!!
