DJ Laura of Miami Joins "Pulse" at the New World Symphony

Sazoneros! Great news: The New World Symphony will present a revamped version of its original classical music meets nightclub style event titled "Pulse: White Out the New World Symphony" on Friday, February 21, inside the New World Center. Guests are encouraged to “white out” the New World Center and embrace Pulse’s innovative aesthetic by dressing in all white to the February event. Ooooh I love this idea!! Laura of Miami will join forces with the New World Symphony as DJ for the evening so get ready to dance with your friends. Laura has performed at Ultra Music Festival and nearly every club in town, lighting up venues like the Electric Pickle, Bardot and the Vagabond. Born in Bogota, Colombia and raised both there and in Miami, Laura earned double master’s degrees in music business and entertainment management from the University of Miami, while serving as the programming director and music director at WVUM 90.5, the University of Miami's independent radio station. This means Laura and I actually go waaay back!!! As a fellow hurricane, Laura is one very cool and talented friend of mine so I'm looking forward to enjoying her electronic beats during Pulse. Here's a fun pic of Laura (below)...
In case you're wondering, I've attended a previous Pulse event and I must say it's an awesome musical experience. The event simulates a late-night lounge setting while featuring projections throughout the walls of the New World concert hall to accompany the electronica music. Pulse starts at 9:00 p.m. and ends at 1:30 a.m. Tickets to Pulse: White Out the New World Symphony start at $25 and are available by calling the New World Symphony Box Office at 305-673-3331 or online at See you there!!
