The VIP luncheon was held at the Coral Gables Country Club and there were plenty of movers & shakers in attendance. From Emilio Estefan to Alicia Machado (pictured on the right), the ballroom was packed with influential women and men who were all there to celebrate the accomplishments of the #25poderosas. To see the complete compilation of the ladies who made this year's list (Eva Longoria, Roselyn Sanchez, Sofia Vergara and Shakira to name a few), make sure you pick up the November issue of People en Español . It's amazing to see a list of powerful Latina women who are working toward creating positive changes in our society. Overall, it was my first time attending the luncheon and I thought it was a lovely event!
