In the spirit of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: Events open to the public in Miami Beach!

It's official my Sazoneros! Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim has arrived so I've got the latest scoop on events that are open to the public. If you're dying to see the new swimwear trends that will be hitting this year's runways, I will be covering most of the shows for you live from Cabaña Grande at The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach. I'll definitely be sharing my encounters with celebs, crazy hot bikinis and beautiful models who will be taking over our city this week. July 18th through 20th- “Funkshion” will be hosting their annual swimwear shows that are open to the general public featuring designers such as locals Liliana Montoya and Nikki Poulos (who appeared on NBC’s “Fashion Star”). July 18th- “Splashion 2012″ is bringing sexy back at LIV Nightclub (inside the Fontainebleau Hotel) where guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails, beauty treatments, pop band Kulture Shock and a fashion show. The show will feature the latest collections by brands like Jantzen and Perry Ellis. The evening is being hosted by Miami Magazine and will be held from 8 to 11 p.m. (must be 21 years old or over to attend). RSVP by visiting ModernLuxury.com/splashion.

July 20th- Lila Nikole Rivera (swimwear model pictured above) debuts her Spring/ Summer 2013 Lila Nikole Collection at Bamboo Miami (550 Washington Ave.) from 8 to 11 p.m. (fashion show starts at 9:30 p.m.).  July 21st- Carissa Rosario Perfume Launch Party will be taking place at The Catalina Hotel inside the famous Red Bar (1756 Collins Avenue, between 17th & 18th Street) from 8 to 10 p.m. There will be a cocktail hour from 8 to 9 p.m. and an after party till 3 a.m. alongside Power 96 DJ B*RYTE. Carissa Rosario (pictured above) is an International Model who has appeared on the cover of Maxim Magazine and has graced the pages of Vogue with her beauty.  July 22nd- “The Salon Allure Designer Sample Sale” is an annual pop-up shopping lounge featuring more than 20 leading contemporary designers that offer significant discounts (up to 50%) on clothing, swimwear, lingerie and accessories during the weekend of Miami Swim Week. Proceeds will benefit the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. The event is chaired by Miami philanthropist Tracy Wilson Mourning, shoe designer Lisa Pliner and style blogger Ginger Harris.
