Ladies! The shopping events have poured in this week so grab your calendar and take notes. Viva Fashion, a blog featuring the latest in fashion trends and shopping on a budget, will be hosting a shopping event that will gather local Miami boutiques and unique designers under one roof this weekend. The Viva Fashion Event will be taking place on Saturday, October 16th, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Hotel in Coral Gables. Proceeds from the event will benefit Mision Child, a non-profit organization that helps promote education to children living in poverty by building schools, providing schools meals and supplying textbooks in Latin America and the Caribbean. The cover entrance of $5 helps feed 10 children in one day and every bit makes a difference. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of exclusive shopping discounts with a unique mix of merchandise from handbags, clothing to handmade jewelry. Carmen Ordonez, founder of Viva Fashion Blog decided to host the charity shopping event as a way of bringing the pages of the blog to life all while helping a great cause. ShopSwagg partners with Pangaea Lounge and Gryphon Nightclub to present “ShopSwagg Fashion Night Out South Florida” on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. ShopSwagg Fashion Night Out is a shopping event for trendy, upscale and fashionable women who are interested in having the ultimate girl’s night out. Hosted by 2011 Beach Bunny Super Model of the Year and former Miss Florida USA, Jessica Rafalowski, guests will enjoy music by DJ Meesh, signature cocktails, hors d’ouevres from Bash Wine & Catering of Sunrise and access to over 35 South Florida designers, boutiques and beauty experts with deals up to 75% off.
